In the church, in the community, wherever the Lord has brought us to, she was always involved with musical activities as a vocalist and a pianist. Through the years quite a few people have asked her for a recording of her music, but having a recording from a studio was just a dream. Then one day she received a CD from one of her artist friends, a CD he had recorded with his own equipment. With this he inspired and encouraged her to produce something of her own to reach out to people. We then decided to create a music studio at home. In the summer of 1999, in Mansfield, TX a home studio was created right in our living room. Things did not go smoothly at first, since we had no experience. We had to learn everything from scratch: how to operate the software, synthesizer, sound-engineering, mixing, etc. After two years of working on this project, we were almost done and released a demo CD to friends and family. However, the Lord had other plans for us and we moved to Missouri. The move put the recording on hold for a while, but He continued to guide us and open the doors for us. Finally after three and half years, with the support and encouragement from our friends, the project came to a completion. It is a work that has its flaws, but we firmly believe that where we are weak, God’s power works the mightiest. We hope you enjoy it and may the music bless you as it has blessed us. Yoshika currently lives with her husband in New York. They have three dogs: Rascal, Shadow, and Pappi. She enjoys, music, painting, and writing. Her husband Rege enjoys photography.
