Trampoline Safety Rules | ||||||||||||||
On June 6th 2003, my friend and I were on his trampoline. We were playing a jumping and falling game and I accidently landed on his leg. He happened to just have a pencil pointing UP in his pocket (these pants had pockets around the knees). I landed around his knee area and that pencil jabbed through his pocket, through my pants, and right into my leg, about 2-3 inches below my knee. The pencil snapped into three pieces in 3 clean cuts. Two halves in his pocket, The graphite end into my leg. IT HURT! I went to my friends mom and she said "go to your house to get that out." So I went home. I finally got it out ten minutes later. Now, almost a six months later, my leg has a black dot on it. ********************************** MORAL OF THIS STORY: clean your pockets out before you jump! ********************************** |

1. The trampoline manufacturer suggests that you only have one person on the trampoline at one time. 2. If your neighbor hates things in his yard, no balls on the trampoline (as the neighbor may get mad) and move the trampoline away from the fence (this reduces the risk that your neighbor will think you are stalking or something else. 3. Get your tramploline checked out once in a while, also don't break springs |
