April 8, 2005 - WHAT A DAY. In 1-2 hour today we finished some challenges activities and then I got to climb on the ropes. I was very nervous. It was difficult climbing the ladder, and then when I got to the parallel ropes, I only held onto one of the ropes, and not both of them. What a stupid mistake. I couldn't get onto the other rope, so I yelled "ready to fall" and then they lowered me back to earth. Here are some commands we have to use:
Climber: on belay
Prim. Belayer: (inspects team) belay on.
Climber: ready to climb
Prim. Belayer: climb away
* at this point, the Climber, armed with a helmet and studebaker, starts climbing *
Then in math and biology, we had tests and quizzes (oh yay :( )
April 9, 2005 - Hung out at home. We still haven't done the 'storage cleanup' that my dad planned for us.
April 10, 2005 - Finished laundry, and then did dishes and whatever else my dad told me. Talk about 'full clean house'. I rode up and down the trail for an hour or so, and went on the subtrail. Went home, had dinner, watched about 2 hours of SuperVolcano (woah.)
April 11, 2005 - day not done yet, so I won't know. Im not psychic.
Well that ends the month...
By the way:
- I stayed off the computer for a few days over the weekend (except to scan pictures!!!)
