Items
Mushroom : Makes small Mario large. When large Mario get's hurt or touches an enemy, he will turn back into small Mario. Mushrooms are usually found in "?" Blocks.
Feather : If Mario is small when he obtains this, he will become large and gets a cape and have the ability to soar. If he is already large he simply gets a cape and has the ability to fly.
Star : When Mario obtains the Star, he will be invincible for a set period of time. Any enemies he touches will automatically be destroyed, and anything thrown at him will bounce right off.
Fire Flower : If Mario is small when he obtains this, he will become large and he will have the ability to shoot small red fireballs at attacking enemies. If he is already large he simply earns the ability to shoot fireballs.
Shell : It can be red or green and can only be obtained from enemy Koopas, Koopa Troopas, Parakoopas, and Paratroopas. Jump on a Koopa and he will slide out. Approach the shell and press B to pick it up. Hold B and let go when you want to fire the shell.
1 Up Mushroom : When you obtain this mushroom you will gain an extra life.
3 Up Moon : When you obtain this moon you will gain an extra 3 lives.
Yoshi Coin : Obtain five of these rare coins and you will earn yourself an extra life.
