The fight starts, and Pokey lurches forwards immediately, going for a quick stab. Unfortunately for Pokey, his sharp spines barely affect Bullet Bill's steel body, and the projectile counters by exploding against the cactus with tremendous power! Several sections of Pokey's body pop out of the totem pole-like structure, and all that Pokey has to fight with is his head! He launches himself again at Bullet Bill, but the bullet zips out of harm's way quickly, then strikes from behind. Pokey takes the headshot and goes down.
