Paula

This picture was taken on New Year's Eve,1997. It was taken on the border between Switzerland and Italy. We skied from Kermatt Switzerland to Cervinia Italy that day. That is Sara, Craig, me (Paula) and Cathy. It was the last vacation we got to take as a family before Craig died on February 7th, 1999.

Craigs's favorite poem. It summarizes who Craig was and how he lived his life. It is what we had put on his headstone.

I Choose Not To Be Common I choose not to be common. I sought opportunity- not security I took the calculated To dream and to build, to fail and to succed I preferred the challanges of life to the guaranteed existence. I never cowered to any master nor bent to any threat. It was my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid; to think and act for myself, enjoy the benefit of my creations and to face the world boldly and say....this I have done.
