THE STORY

Young Americans is kind of a spinoff of Dawson's Creek.  Will Krudsky who appeared on Dawson's Creek (as Pacey's friend) is a main character.  He is starting is first year at Rawley Academy a prestigious boarding school. His roommate is Scout Calhoun, who was born rich (unlike Will).  Scout forms a relationship with a local girl, Bella, who turns out to be his half sister.  All of this is in the first episode.  I'm sure the plot will thicken with the next.  Jake (who is actually a girl pretending to be a boy) is friends with Hamilton (the Dean's son).  Jake seems like he/she is a bad boy/girl and Hamilton likes this.  At one poing Jake just kisses Hamilton and later on apologizes.  Hamilton is now thinking that he, himself might be homosexual, however, we know he's not because Jake is really a girl.
