About Youngold's Paradise®
What is Youngold's Paradise?

Most of you must ask yourself what is Youngold's Paradise.  This nickname was the origin of a dream for me.  I wanted to make my own CD, made on computer.  I used a program called eJay, and I created about 13 tracks.  I named the album "Come with me 2night" and called the group Youngold's Paradise. I loved doing that, and I ended up falling for techno and dance, which is the main style of music in the CD.  My dream was to produce that CD and become famous.  I was then only 12 years old.  Now, I realized how music is hard and how the music I made was far to be good enough.  I gave up making music on computer, but did not give up my nickname:  YOUNGOLD'S PARADISE.  The music you hear when you are on the main page is "Scream," one of the songs in the CD.

Not a lot of people know about my a.k.a. Youngold's Paradise.  I don't talk a lot about it, but I am still proud of it.  I find it original, unique and stupid in a way, too;  I think that's what makes it special.  I use it as my email address and as my nickname on the web.  Among my friends, I have many nicknames, but none of my friends knows this one and none uses it, not even in my family.  It is a dream that will never vanish from my memory ... because if I ever get famous, which I really doubt, my dream would be for me to be known as Youngold's Paradise, or Y P for short.

Today, I let the computer aside to focus more on actual music writing.  I hope one day to come up with a song with complete music and lyrics.  I started to write some music in June 2004, for the hope of a song that might be entitled "Cancer of Love."  It is still a project, and is far to be completed.  I need to write the lyrics, with the goal of playing in my church one day,
Faith Community Church.  I have many dreams, maybe too much, but that's what keeps me alive.  Maybe one day, I'll write songs in French, other pop songs, music for musicals, etc ... Basically, I want to do everything.

I would not have this passion and this determination without the support of my family and friends, whether from Belgium or from California.  Each one of those I met in my life made a difference in my life, each single one.  I really enjoy being part of the Sierra Vista High School band.  I've met many extraordinary people who I admire, respect and who inspire me.  I've had a wonderful musical education, and I feel really lucky for that privilege.  I must thank my parents, for being there and supporting me, I must thank all of my teachers for their wonderful job, and each friend for their respect toward my hard work.
