This was the unveiling ceremony of the Genesee Theatre on October 12, 2003 at noon. There was a very lucky exchange of events to lead my dad to be there for it. ask me about it sometime.

Turns out, Opening night sold out in thirty seconds. I wasn't able to go. I heard it was a very good show, however. I was building a set that night for a show I was working on. I'm sure Mr. Cosby will understand.

This is the statue of Jack Benny That stands kitty corner from the Genesee. He was a kin to me in that he loved Waukegan because it was magical and his hometown. It will be back to the shining glory it once was once again. Ask me to show you the statue sometime.

The infamous Ela hath dubbed me  "the queen of Waukegan"
