YOUR MUM LOVES RANDOM PLACES

Here is a small selection of places ive been to in the last couple of years with no link whatsoever!

Wisley Airfield, Surrey. An old BAC factory, the VC10 and BAC 1-11 were made here. The airfield was closed in 1973 due to the building of the new A3, but the runway is virtually intact. Its a very spooky place even in daylight!

Nicosia, Cyprus. My favourite city in the world and my second home. This is a view from the south east looking north. In the background you may see a small white square on the hillside. This is a very large turkish flag painted in white on rocks. Just in case we didn't know they were there. Just for a laugh they fire off lots of guns at night too. Nice bunch them.

Val D'Isere, France. Basically a great place to ski. It was a bit on the chilly side though!

Don't think this pic needs explaining. What might need explaining is the fact that directly behind me is a KFC and Pizza hut, but oh no, they never show that in the movies do they now?

Olympia, Greece. OK just a few old rocks now but in its heyday it was the crystal palace of the ancient athletics world. Actually its probably in better condition.....

Severn Bridge, circa early 1966. This bridge has always shit me up for some reason. Maybe it because when the wind blows it shakes like a bugger, but its still a wonder of design. Its still in use, although another bridge takes most of the traffic, more often than not you are the only one one it. And you can walk on it too! Obviously its a bit more complete these days!
