SO THEN, WHERE ELSE DOES YOUR MUM SHOP???
The glorious LITTLE CHEF. Used to share the market with Happy Eater (R.I.P) but now seems to have a niche all of its own. Usually found in service stations but the original roadside ones are worth checking out, for free refils of soft drinks. Why they have the marshmallow man from ghostbusters as their symbol ive never quite worked out.

Ah the power of the service station. As a member of sixites psych pop band love said when he woke up at a service station. "wow man, this is where the beatles came from!". And he was nearly right. Minature cities bustle with life 24 hours a day. Crap shops with big range of choc ices, used to have a julie's pantry! Rock on!!!!!
Now this is a real relic from a bygone time. National petrol stations. Famous for giving away free smurfs with every £5 of petrol or something like that. They had a whole family, but these sadly (like happy eater) have been swallowed up by one of the larger companies (BP i think but dont quote me on that one, as i could quite easily be wrong!) so a big YOUR MUM to the memory of National service stations!
Does your mum still have her milk delivered? Well if she does then its probably from these people. Yes I know having milk delivered to your doorstep every morning might seem like a strange concept, but it did happen. Also you could get bread, juices and most importantly dodgy soft drinks! It was a happy time: Check out the link http://tv.cream.org/arkcrest2.htm for my thoughts on the soft drink industry.
WIMPY. Those youngster brought up on BK and McBastards dont know what they are missing out on! You sit at a wimpy and they serve you with halfpounders and bender burgers! And the puddings! Knickerbocker Glory, Brown Derby and Banana Long Boat! I think i may have just orgasmed. Welcome back my love, you went away but you have come back, and never leave me again...ever!!!!
So important was wimpy at the time, they even made a computer game on it where you had to make your own wimpy burgers! What a superb idea, if only they had the original tomato shaped ketchup dispensers!!!!
I so wanted one of these as a kid! wow!
