Sorry for taking so long on journaling. Well, this has been a
pretty interesting summer. The summer started off with me
going to summer school. I do not think I ever want to take
summer school again. It was very tough. I had one class,
Microbiology, that I struggled in. I think it would not have
been so bad if I had not had a teacher that didn't like me at first. As the time went on, he started treating me better. So, through some hard studying for the exam, I ended up passing the class. I was so thankful to the Lord for that. He is always so good to me. The week of the 4th of July our family went to the beach. We had such a good time. Then, 2 weeks before I got out of summer school, my mom had surgery. We were all thankful that everything went well. Now, I am getting ready to start my last year at school. School starts tomorrow. That means I have a year left till I start the process of adopting Kayleigh and I can't wait. Continue to pray for me as I am in school that I will keep my focus on what I have planned. And also pray that I will continue to seek God's will in this.

Well, I am getting ready to start my second week of school for my last fall semester. Last week went really well. The most exciting thing that happened this week was when I was at TJ Maxx. While I was there I found and got 2 things for the adoption of Kayleigh. The first thing I got was a Baby Carrier, so when I am over in Vietnam and I have her with me, I can carry her in that. It is very nice. I also, got a Duke outfit for her. It says Duke Girl! I do not know if it will ever fit her at the right time or not, but it was fun getting it. I have posted them under my photos link, so check it out! Just 15 weeks left of this semester and then, I will be in my last semester! YIPPEE! |
