Well, I finally got the ticker thing working on my computer.
Now you can count down with me until I start Kayleigh's
adoption process. I can't wait! My time line right now is
to finish school and then, start the process. School's timeline
is very crazy. I have to do 100 hrs and some in my
externship next semester. And another thing is graduation for
everyone is not until August 2007. I will be done with classes in May, but will still be possibly in my externship till I meet all the hours. So, from January until I get the hours in, I will not be able to start the process. After I finish school completely (even if that is before graduation), I will start working and start the adoption process. After that it is usually 3 months until you get your referral. A referral is when you get the call from the agency saying they have a child for you. Then, it is usually 3 more month until you travel. The Browns have already gone and are at home with their little girl, Gracie and the Alexanders are still in China, but they have their little girl, Anna. I love to read their stories. I have another BIG thing coming up right now. On December 2, I will be meeting some people that are on my Yahoo Group that I started for NC families that have either adopted or are going to adopt from Vietnam. There are 3 other couples on there besides me and we are going to meet at a Cracker Barrel here in NC. I can't wait, since I know there will be some adopted kids there. Some are from Vietnam and some are from China. Please pray that this will go good.
