MoonStone
MoonStone LeVoudrais was born into the Bleu Sorcier witch clan in France. Her birthright was a wealth of unusual magickal power, one quite different to other witches. Yet young, innocent Moon had chosen not to devote her life to magickal studies. Since she was young, the pretty witch had believed that too much knowledge is dangerous, and allowed herself only the most basic magickal skills.

Her parents had readily accepted their daughter’s rebellious attitude. Her kind, self-effacing nature was not one that could tolerate drak power, and her family recognised that. As a result, Moon was watched over vigilantly, and her family was very protective of her.
Her older brother, Jasper, taught her simple protection chants and made sure the other witches didn’t mistreat her. And her older sister, TigerEye, was her best friend.

The two girls were visual opposites: MoonStone was tall, with glossy auburn curls and deep blue eyes. TigerEye was petite, her curls were the colour of the sun and her eyes were a clear green; yet they were incredibly affectionate toward each other. TigerEye was passionately magickal (with more innate power than MoonStone and Jasper), and she strived to create a beautiful world for her little sister. Moon, in turn, would make it her business to ensure a smile was always gracing her sister’s face.

When their clan came under threat by other witches, trying to obtain the LeVoudrais ancestral power, the family moved to Rome. Moon became accosted by visions of dark times and bloody battles. This essentially broke the gentle witch’s spirit. She dispassionately began to learn dark magick, honing her skill for visions. Privately, without letting on to her dear sister, or her family, Moon became miserable. So when the night she had seen in her visions actually happened, she could barely bother to fight.

Vampires and angry witches attacked all members of the Bleu Sorcier clan on their sacred Beltane night. And angry riot escalated. Her brother Jasper was cornered and attacked by vampires, defiantly calling a Goddess chant while he was bashed. She saw her parents die, and lost track of her other sister in the immense carnage, as her clan was essentially slaughtered.

Another witch, not from Moon’s clan, captured her and hit her with a barrage of magickal energy. Moon’s body and nervous system basically paralysed, and she was left to die.

Days later, Moon awakened at the sacred site, remains of the battle around her, surrounded by dead vampires, witches, family and fellow clansmen. Blindly, she fled.

MoonStone made her way back to France, and she lived in the Pyranees as she recuperated, emotionally, mentally, physically and magickally.

No longer blithe, gentle, and innocent, she became quiet, tense, and suspicious. She accepted her innate powers, but grimly, as a method of self-defense and a possible chance for revenge.

She made her way back to Paris after her recuperation – back to the city of her childhood. One night, she came across Theatre des Vampires, a vampire bar. She found herself drawn to the place, and entered it. She was only a patron for four nights.

When she entered, she came across a young man, Julian, recently turned. She and he struck up a friendship, which angered Xander, his sire, and her group of friends. Max, an incredibly young vampire, forcibly changed Moon. It was then that MoonStone reverted to her days in Rome – a frightening apathy. She had become her family’s strongest enemy. It was then she began unconsciously sending visions to her assumed-dead sister.

MoonStone was soon cornered by a group of menacing vampires, lead by Xander and Delirium, a mad vampire.

They taunted her, fought her…and Delirium ripped her throat out. Not even realising it, MoonStone unconsciously called to her sister TigerEye, not realising she was alive.
Tragically, her sister burst through the doors of the theatre just moments after MoonStone breathed her last breath.
