2. When replying to a message, thou shalt edit or completely cut the original, leaving only that part of the original message that is relevant to thy reply.

3. Thou shalt alter the subject line of thy posting if the thread to which thou art replying has become diverted to a new topic.

4. Thou shalt answer swap or trade messages PRIVATELY. A member’s transaction with another member is the business of those two members and no one else’s.

5. Thou art encouraged to add a signature line at the bottom of thy e-mails, thereby making it easier for others to respond to thee privately.

6. Thou shalt indicate “off-topic” messages by putting something appropriate (e.g. “OT”) in the subject line.

7. Thou shalt not post messages containing large attachments, as some members have download limits. Instead, thou shalt post thy attachment to the Files section of the Yahoo Groups YSG page - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/yowiesupergroup/files/. At certain times, such as when there is a serious virus threat, the moderators may prohibit attachments of any kind or size.

8. Thou shalt not break these commandments, lest thou bring the wrath of the Moderators upon thy head. Members who are in breach of one or more of the YSG Commandments will get a personal warning from one or more of the moderators depending on the severity of their transgression. If the transgression is judged to be totally unacceptable, the offending member can be banned. Members who have been warned more than once may be moderated - but will be advised of this beforehand. However, in exceptional circumstances, members can be moderated without warning and for an indefinite period of time at the discretion of the group owner and/or one of the moderators.

9. Thou shalt not poach members for other groups. Contacting other members privately is permissible, but posting ads for other groups through YSG is strictly prohibited.

10. Thou shalt be moderated for up to one month after first joining YSG.
