I spent a weekend at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui, Hawaii back in August of 1998. I went for my friends Chris Casel's & Jennifer Garrett's Wedding (August 8, 1998). It was soooo beautiful!!! I didn't think I'd enjoy Hawaii as much as I did! This resort was just the place to enjoy it from. It had a killer foyer/entryway, impeccable service, generous amenities, spacious rooms, miles of meandering sculpted-pool slides, five star restaurants (remember the"Thank you for calling Humuhumunukunukuapua'a! May I help you?"), quaint chapel, and more! Since Chris & Jenn were busy, I spent most of my time hanging out with Renee and Greg...
