South Africa 2002
From the slums of Soweto Johannesburg to the amazing safari of Kruger, to the beautiful landscapes of Capetown and Cape of Good Hope, to the wonderful winery at Franschoek, - South Africa never ceases to amaze me.

A nation torn apart by apartheid and a topography of diverse lanscape that is wildly beautiful. That's South Africa.

There is something about South Africa and Africa that keeps me going back again and again!

Soweto Dear John!
Soweta, a place of history, where the former leaders of South Africa congregated during apartheid. Now, it house the poor at one area and the rich at another. It's an interesting place but make sure you get a guide! I left my heart in Pretoria ... oo la la .. Just kidding! This picture was taken with the owner of the backpacker where I stayed. He is Irish and quite a character!
Oliphant
The Three Rondavales
Awesome views enroute to Kruger Park from Pretoria. Photographed here is a formation which is known as The Three Rondavales.
At one of the camp site in Kruger Park. This place is called Oliphant Camp Site. Does not take two guesses why it's called that, does it? :)
impalas
Cape Point
Impalas, or more commonly called the MacDonald by the guides due to the letter M shape that can be seen at their butts!
At Cape Point or Cape of Good Hope, the views are amazing, surreal.
franschoek
Franschoek - we spend a whole day driving from vineyards to vineyards and tasting wine! It was a heady experience! :D
