With war clouds looming, it has become easy to forget our nation's soldiers, who will soon be fighting for the freedom of our United States. Just recently, a Walk-Out was planned at Xaverian High School if war began. Anti-war fervor gripped the student body as word of the Walk-Out continued to spread like wildfire.
In response, the Young Republicans Club is planning several events to coincide with any anti-war events. One will be a moment of prayer for our nation's soldiers and all the innocent civilians which will be lost. Second, the Young Republicans Club will be distributing yellow ribbons to fellow students and teachers. And third, a town hall-style discussion will be held in to discuss the war, its aftermath and other such issues plaguing our nation.
