| Dave fell to the floor. Spaniel started to kick him. Suddenly, Spaniel lost his balance and fell to the ground, cracking his head heavily on the concrete as he did so. Moses had managed to creep up behind him and had tackled him to the floor. Moses grabbed the injured Dave by the arms and started to drag him towards safety. He found a phone and was able to call on the emergency services. The ambulance came and picked up Dave. The fire brigade came to rescue the six still trapped in the caravan. The police found Spaniel still lying where he had fallen. A quick examination led them to discover that he was dead. Moses was taken in for questioning but soon released as evidence that the earlier bombing and gas attack made it clear that Spaniel had been behind these earlier attempts to kill these core members of Ystranglus band. Dave was released from hospital the next morning and a minibus was hired to take all eight band members home. |
