William Tell Overture |

Of course we don't play the whole of Rossini's 'William Tell Overture'... We just stick to the well known bit that was also used as the theme tune to the 'Lone Ranger'. The quartet version that we play is the Band's own arrangement for 2 b-flat cornets, tenor horn and euphonium or trombone. The tune is split between the horn and first cornet to resemble the original french horn and trumpet sounds as closely as possible. |
