In Tokyo, Kazuki Takahashi was born on October 4, 1961. Kazuki Takahashi started drawing in his teens and eventually, in 1991 started drawing in Shonen Jump, one of Japan’s best-selling weekly comics. Kazuki Takahashi didn’t start drawing again until 1996, when he started the comic series Yu-Gi-Oh!. In 2000, the animated version of
Yu-Gi-Oh! was released in Japan. The show was an instant hit, it lead to the creation of many video games, animation, and a card game. So far 23 million comics have been sold. Kazuki Takahashi is now know as one of Japan’s foremost comic artist. |
