Hi minna (everyone), this is my Counter fic to the disgraceful story I read about Kero-chan turning into a human and having sex with Sakura and then Sakura killing Syaoran. (When you can’t have her by Pixie_chick15) It makes me so mad! Anyways, this is a counter fic and takes place at the second to last scene, when Firey tries to kill Syaoran. Oh yeah. Syaoran does NOT have the Mirror card or the Shield card! And Meiling has no magic, so she CAN’T USE Clow Cards! How dumb can an author be? But anyways, I didn’t make this S+S because that’s too hard. (Please don’t flame me!) This is Syaoran+Yue, which could happen, so don’t flame! Contains shounen ai and a scene which involves Yue and Syaoran together…so if under 18, don’t read! However, it’s not all hentai.

I do not own CCS! It belongs to Kodashi, Clamp, and Nelvana (Die! Nelvana die!) So don’t sue! I only have 4 dollars!

Syaoran dodged the move as he kicked Meiling out of the way. “Stay out of the way Meiling.” He said through gritted teeth. “The battle is between me and the Card Captor.” (Well, according to the poorly written fic, Sakura has to be the Card Captor since she doesn’t have all the cards! Duh! Besides, how can Meiling use cards if she has no magic? Some people are SOOOO stupid.) He glared up at the towering Firey card, before reaching for a single card as he threw it in the air. “Libra card! Show Sakura the truth! And judge between the two of us, who is worthier!”

“Libra Card? What’s that?” asked Sakura. Tomoyo shrugged. She didn’t know either. (I’m making Libra Syaoran’s card because you never see Sakura catch it anyways, and the fic doesn’t mention the Final Judgment or Yue, so…) A scale and a balance appeared as they weighed some invisible things. Finally, it tipped towards Sakura. Syaoran’s voice took on an ominous tone. “You have failed, Sakura. The test. Not the final judgment, but the punishment will still be severe.”

Firey shrieked as it rushed at Syaoran, but was stopped by an invisible force and suddenly reverted back into a Card. “Huh?” Sakura turned as something hopped up onto Syaoran’s shoulder. It looked like a little stuffed bear…Kero-chan! “Kero-chan!” shouted Sakura, running towards him. Suddenly, both Syaoran and Kero-chan closed their eyes as magic circles formed underneath their feet.

Wings unfurled, as Kero-chan appeared, the beast on the cover of the Clow Card book. Syaoran was a totally different matter. He was wearing silvery-black-gold robes and he had silver hair and silver wings. They both looked at Sakura with a sort of sadness in their eyes. Finally, Kero-chan spoke.

“I, Cerebus, have made a fatal mistake in choosing the Card Captor, who was to become the Card Mistress. She has failed the test of purity, love, and truth. She proved that she was not pure when she forced her attentions on her guardian and denied her true feelings. She failed the test of love when she willingly sided with evil. And she failed the test of truth, because she refused to see. Now, we must administer the punishment.”

As soon as Cerebus finished speaking, winds whipped up as Yukito walked into the clearing. “Yukito-san?” asked Sakura, looking puzzled. She stared as Yukito closed his eyes and wings swept around his body. When his wings unfurled, Sakura found her staring at a man dressed in blue-silver robes with white wings and long silver hair. He opened his eyes and began to speak.

“I am the Final Judgment maker Yue. I was to determine whether the candidate, chosen by Decision Maker Cerebus, was worthy of his or her post. However, as Cerebus informs me that this girl-named Sakura, who could not even past the test of purity, love, and truth, there is no doubt that she would have failed the final judgment as well. Therefore, it is up to me to administer the punishment.”

Sakura stared. “Wait! I don’t get it! What does Syaoran have to do with this? What punishment? How can Kero-chan still be alive? And why won’t Firey or my other cards obey me anymore? I don’t get it!”

This time, Syaoran spoke. “I am Syaoran, Moon Card Master/Guardian. Clow Reed created me as his near equal. I was to accompany and test the candidate, chosen by Decision Maker Cerebus, during the trials, to make sure she was worthy. I was to use the Double Card to create a human form for Cerebus, and then have it die after it had confessed its love for you. However, although you seemed to be pure in heart, you failed. Firey was also tricked, but after seeing the truth, it returned. But you didn’t consider. No, It had to be me who killed you darling guardian! Well, it ends here. Now.” Said Syaoran, his voice turning icy cold by the time he was finished. Then he continued.

“Yes, fool that I was, I fell in love with you. I believed you would succeed. I helped you, for Clow’s sake! I protected you so many times, tried to let you see. And I thought that the kindness you showed was a sign of love. But I was wrong! I always believed that once you were the Clow Card Mistress, we would be together forever. But I was wrong, deadly wrong. And now…” Syaoran trailed off, unable to say anymore.

Yue picked up. “The reason that the cards will not obey you is because you are not worthy anymore. Look.” Yue held up one hand, as the cards Sakura held scattered. Some flew to Cerebus, and some flew to Yue. “And the punishment is the punishment of forgetting. Those who are mortal will forget you. You will forget them. And it will stay that way until your death.” Yue finished by making a sweeping gesture, as if gathering the winds.

Sakura stared as energy flowed out of her body, and she fell. When she awoke, she would not remember anything. Anything.

9 months later…

Sakura, or Haruno Kaze (Spring wind), as she was now called, screamed in pain as her body contracted. “Now calm down.” Said the hospital nurse, helping her. Sakura thrust hard and finally, after many hours, the child was born. “Who is the father?” asked the Nurse. Sakura shook her head. She couldn’t remember anything! Why…? “I don’t know!” she finally screamed.

“What will you name him?” asked the nurse. Sakura studied the child. It had short golden hair and brown eyes. Finally, she decided. “Kerokero.” She said, for the life of her wondering why she was calling the child “Ribbit.” Just then, Sakura fell to the floor. The nurse helped her up and then left, to clean the child up.

Sakura gasped in pain as memories assaulted her brain. Memories of her family, her brown-haired father and black-haired older brother who always called her Kaijuu. Memories of a violet-haired girl who ran around with a video camera. Memories of a boy with messy brown hair and a small, golden teddy/bear/lion with wings. And last, but not least, memories of failure; of three people she didn’t know berating her. And then pain, and darkness…

When Sakura awoke, it was nighttime and the moon shone through the open window. It was a full moon tonight, she thought. “S-sakura.” She whispered. “My name. Not Haruno kaze. Not spring wind. And the others; Touya, Oneesan, Tomoyo-chan, Yukito-san, Kero-chan, Syaoran…” Sakura whimpered. Her last memories had been of a white-haired ‘angel’ gathering pink energy from her body. Then, she had fainted. But why? The attackers had talked about some kind of test, some kind of test, which she had failed. And for that she had been punished with forgetting. But how had she regained her memories?

Syaoran watched Sakura from outside, his wings beating softly as he stayed in one place. “Sakura…” he whispered, wishing he could tell her how sorry he was, that the judgment had been too harsh, that she shouldn’t have been forced to undergo it… But as soon as these thoughts came to mind, he shook his head. “It was her duty as a potential candidate. You shouldn’t blame yourself for this.” He said firmly. Just then, a hand tapped him on the back.

Syaoran spun around to find Yue there, looking at him with worry. “It’s not your fault.” Said Yue. “Clow wouldn’t like it if you kept punishing yourself like this. You knew that it was a duty-your duty. And there was no way she could have known…” Yue sighed as he picked Syaoran up, since Syaoran was acting like a little kid. “Come, we must go, before she notices us here.” With that, Yue carrying Syaoran flew off into the welcoming darkness.

“Yes…as soon as her system was purged of evil, she would have remembered.” Said Syaoran, partly to himself and partly to Yue. “In this case, it was her child, so…” “As soon as she had rid herself of the darkness, she would have remembered. But for everybody else to remember her…” said Yue, continuing.

Syaoran sighed. Then, he started to cry softly. Yue picked him up and wrapped his arms (and wings) around him. “Hush, it’s all right.” He whispered softly. Kero-chan flew in, noticing the commotion, but when he saw what the other two guardians were in a rather interesting position and kissing, he quickly got out of there.

The next day…

Sakura scuffed her feet. Her father and older brother had remembered her, and taken her home, but the baby was a problem. They had scolded her for having intercourse and giving birth, when she was only 13 and their family budget could hardly support the three of them! Sakura sighed. Tomoyo still hadn’t remembered, and she didn’t know about Syaoran. What would he think?

Sakura looked at the clock. She wondered when school would start. It seemed like forever before she caught sight of a semi-familiar face. “T-Tomoyo-chan?” she asked. “Wh-Who are you? Sakura? Sakura? Sakura!” Tomoyo ran down and hugged her long lost best friend.

Just then, somebody walked in the room. Sakura looked up and saw someone she had thought she would never see again. “S-Syaoran-kun?” she asked. Syaoran noticed her and waved slightly, before turning and putting down his backpack. Sakura rubbed her eyes. Didn’t he have brown hair? Maybe he had dyed it…

A minute later, the bell rang and the teacher walked in. “Class, I’m sure you all remember Sakura Kinomoto. She was struck down with amnesia and has only recently remembered everything. She will be joining our class.” He finished. Then, he started to draw up algebraic equations on the board, making Sakura forget about Syaoran’s hair color.

At lunchtime, Sakura joined her circle of friends. Tomoyo, Chiharu, Naoko, Takeshi, and Rika. She saw Syaoran walk over towards the fence that separated the middle school from the high school. Then, she saw Yukito-san walk by and immediately went into ‘hanyaan’ mode. Tomoyo noticed this and giggled, before pulling out her video camera and recording every detail.

“So, how was school today?” asked Yukito brightly. Syaoran sighed. “She came back to school. I should have known.” He said. “I know! Sakura is finally back! Her brother was so proud!” said Yukito, gushing. Syaoran sweat dropped. He couldn’t stand the sweetness that Yukito possessed, especially when he was in a bad mood. “You know, I would prefer talking to Yue.” He said.

“Very well.” Yukito and Syaoran walked toward a grove of trees, and then wings came out around Yukito and he turned into Yue. “So…what do you need to talk about?” asked Yue. “I don’t know what to do.” Said Syaoran. “I mean, how do I act towards her, knowing that she has a CHILD, and the fact that she doesn’t know I’m the one who judged her…” he started to shiver uncontrollably.

Yue sighed. “You’ll feel better if you turn back.” He said. Syaoran nodded as his wings appeared and his clothes changed. Somehow, his hair had turned silver even though it was supposed to be brown as Syaoran, when he wasn’t in his true form as Moon Card Master/Guardian. Yue sighed as he stroked Syaoran’s hair. “Don’t worry, Syao-chan, it will all work out in the end.” He said.

“Well, I suppose so, but I feel so guilty.” Said Syaoran, confessing. “Didn’t I tell you last night that it wasn’t your fault? Weren’t you listening?” asked Yue. “You know Clow wouldn’t want this to happen. It’s a test every candidate has to go through, and she wasn’t the first one that failed.” Said Yue. “Besides, Cerebus and I care about you.” Syaoran managed a weak smile as he looked up at Yue.

“But if you feel that bad, take the day off.” Said Yue. “I’ll stay home and take care of you.” Syaoran visualized Yue in a nurse outfit and laughed. Yue sweat dropped. “That’s not what I meant!” he said. “Yeah, maybe you’re right.” Said Syaoran. Seeing that lunch was almost over, Syaoran quickly called the teacher and said that he would be home since he was feeling sick. Yukito did the same thing.

When Yue and Syaoran got home, they settled down. Kero-chan flew in. “Hi! Is school out already?” he asked in his chirpy high voice. “No, it’s just that Syao-chan here is having problems since Sakura is in his class…” said Yue, trailing off. Kero-chan looked sort of guilty. “Sorry.” He said. “I wonder how Sakura’s doing. The only way to reverse the situation would be if she had a child…a child! OH my god! No!”

“She-She didn’t!” said Kero-chan. “She did.” Said Syaoran, looking at Kero-chan with pain-filled eyes. “And its all my fault.” He trailed off. “Maybe if I died, this problem would just reverse itself. Maybe…” He stopped as Yue grabbed his shoulders and forced him to look at him.

“Syao-chan, whatever you think, this is NOT your fault.” Said Yue. “You’ve been living with this guilt for too long. More than both of us have. It’s time to forget her and move on. Besides, did you ever consider how Cerebus would feel? How ‘I’ would feel? And what would happen to all your cards?” Syaoran looked up at Yue, before sighing and crumpling to the floor.

Yue sat down next to Syaoran and stroked his silver hair, trying to comfort him. “Its all right, Syao-chan, nobody’s going to hurt you now, don’t worry.” He murmured over and over, trying to comfort Syaoran. Kero-chan, in a rare display of affection, flew down from his perch and patted Syaoran on the head. “It’s okay, Syaoran, it’ll be okay, just don’t think about it…”

So what have Sakura and her gang been doing?

“Hoe? Syaoran went home?” asked Sakura. “Yeah. The teacher said that he looked really sick.” Said Tomoyo. Sakura sighed. Whenever she thought about Syaoran, she would have a sort of nagging feeling at the back of her mind, telling her that she couldn’t trust him, that he was evil. But it was just a feeling, right?

“Yukito-san went home too.” Said Tomoyo. “Yukito-san? Why? Was he sick too?” asked Sakura, looking extremely worried. “No. I don’t really know. Yukito-san seems so strange lately, so distant and so cold sometimes. Often, I wonder if he’s the same person he used to be.” Said Tomoyo. Sakura stared in amazement. “What happened to Yukito?” she asked.

“Well, I don’t really know, but after you ‘punishment’, I saw Kero-chan leave with Yukito-san. Wait a minute, not Yukito-san. He had silver hair and wings I think. But I haven’t seen Kero-chan since. It’s like he’s been hiding from us. I wonder why?” “Yukito-san, cold and distant? That’s impossible.” Said Sakura confidently. “I mean, he’s always so happy.”

Tomoyo shook her head. “It’s not that simple. Kero-chan and Yukito-san aren’t the only people who are acting strange. Take Syaoran, for instance. One day he just left in the middle of the day. I asked him what was wrong, and he said that he hardly knew himself, but it was too bad. He blames himself for something, even though he won’t tell me what.” Said Tomoyo. Sakura looked surprised. She remained silent and thoughtful throughout the rest of the school day.

After school, Sakura decided to go to Syaoran’s house to see him. She didn’t know why, she just felt like it. So after getting his apartment number from Tomoyo, (How does she find out all of this?) Sakura headed off to Syaoran’s apartment. However, she hadn’t expected the sight that met her eyes when she opened the door.

Syaoran was kissing somebody, she could tell. Sakura blushed. She hadn’t expected to catch him like this. It seemed so intruding! Just then, Kero-chan noticed her and cleared his throat. Syaoran and the person immediately broke apart and turned around.

Syaoran and the person turned around. The person-whoever it was-he or she? -Had long, silvery hair and amethyst eyes with flecks of silver. It was too infinitely beautiful to be human, with long sweeping wings and a sense of power and grace that seemed to infiltrate the whole area. It was wearing silver-blue robes that looked somewhat mussed, but it still seemed to have authority.

“Yes?” Asked Syaoran, finally breaking the uncomfortable silence. Sakura blushed. “Um, I’m sorry about intruding like this. I-I didn’t know that you were um, well, Gomen!” she said, backing away with her eyes closed. Kero-chan stopped her. “Okay, Sakura, since you’ve regained you memories, I suppose you have a right to talk. So, what do you need to know?”

“Oh Kero-chan, I have so many questions! Why did I forget my past? And why aren’t you dead? And why can’t I remember some things? I’m so confused!” Kero-chan crossed his paws and legs as he floated in midair. “I don’t know where to begin.” He said finally. “But I’ll try to tell you.”

“There was a test that the candidate had to pass before the final judgment. It was a test that encompassed love, purity, and truth. A special guardian, chosen by Clow Reed, was to have tempted the candidate with promises of love. In this case, it was I. All that you remember, when we slept together…” Here Kero-chan stopped, unable to go on.

Yue cut in. “All that was a test. But you failed it, so you had to endure the punishment of forgetting. As for Kero-chan, that was the Double card at times, the Illusion card at other times. Syaoran here didn’t want to punish you, because if you remember correctly, he had feelings for you. But it was his duty as a guardian.”

Syaoran nodded as he looked at Sakura with a pained expression. “Duty comes before love.” He whispered softly. Sakura was still confused. “They why can’t I recall all that stuff? I mean, before the test. And what about my baby?” Here Sakura looked down, embarrassed.

“The child…will disappear when its time comes. Until then, you should take care of it.” Said Kero-chan. “Now go home.” Sakura did as she was told, even though she still had a lot of unanswered questions.

Syaoran sighed. “Why? Why do I feel this way around her?” he asked. The other two guardians shrugged, since they didn’t have that problem. “Stop it.” Said Yue, grabbing Syaoran’s wrists. “Stop it. I’m sick and tired of you blaming yourself for what happened to her. It’s NOT your fault, do you hear me? NOT your fault!” In a rare burst of emotion, Yue had FINALLY showed that he could actually get mad. Syaoran nodded.

“Good. Now don’t think about it. Maybe you should activate the Forget card and deactivate the Remember card.” Said Yue. Syaoran sighed. “Do you think I didn’t try? I even combined Forget with Strength and tried that, but it didn’t work.” Syaoran sighs again. Kero-chan starts to look worried. Yue looks at Syaoran worriedly, before picking him up and carrying him to his room.

“I think we should leave him alone.” Said Kero-chan. “The poor kid is probably going through hell right now.” Yue shook his head. “I’ll go check on him later, Cerebus. I know that he’s in pain, and there’s only one way to alleviate it.”

WARNING! SHOUNEN AI (YAOI) LOVE SCENE AHEAD!!!!!

Two hours later, Syaoran still hadn’t emerged, so Yue slipped through the door into his room. He saw Syaoran lying on the bed in a white robe, doing a card reading. Yue watched with interest as Syaoran flipped the cards over and consulted them. “So. Sakura will forgive me.” said Syaoran, looking relieved. *He should have done card readings a long time ago! * was Yue’s thought. *Then, he would not have been so moody and depressed. At least he finally thought about it. *

Syaoran was smiling when he felt a pair of arms wrap around his chest. “Yue-san…” he whispered. “Exactly.” Whispered a husky tenor voice in one of his ears. “I was just checking to see if you were okay, and thought that maybe you needed a hug.” Syaoran turned to see the moon guardian smiling with a certain look in his amethyst/silver eyes.

“Maybe I need more comfort then a hug…” said Syaoran, trailing off. Yue looked at him as Syaoran unfastened the sash that held his robe in place. “Okay, Syao-chan.” Said Yue. Syaoran blushed. “It sounds like I’m a little kid when you call me that…” he said. Yue cut him off with a deep, passionate, kiss.

Syaoran shivered as he felt Yue’s tongue enter his mouth. He gasped inwardly. The moon guardian smiled as he pulled Syaoran up, causing him to drop his robe. “Hmm, what have we here?” Asked Yue, as his wings extended and reached towards Syaoran. Syaoran’s eyes went wide as he felt feathers stroking his cock. “Yue-san!” he cried out, as the moon guardian pushed him down onto the feather bed.

“Shh.” Said Yue whispering. “We don’t want to disturb Cerebus.” Syaoran moaned as Yue continued to pleasure him. Finally, he could not take it any more and screamed “Yue-san!” before he came. Yue settled down next to Syaoran and kissed him again. “Don’t worry Syao-chan, I could never harm you. Pleasure, on the other hand…” Here Yue trailed off, eyes gleaming with barely concealed intent.

Syaoran gasped as he felt Yue pump him hard. “Yue-san!” he cried, before feeling the world around him spin crazily. Yue laughed, wrapping his slender arms around Syaoran. “Fell better now, Syao-chan?” he asked. Syaoran blushed as he nodded. “Good. Now just don’t think about Sakura, okay?” asked Yue. “Yes Yue-san.” Said Syaoran obediently. Yue sighed a bit, before picking up Syaoran and putting him to bed.

After several hours, Kero-chan had decided to see if Syaoran felt any better and flew into his room. What he did NOT expect was to find Yue and Syaoran making out on the bed. Kero-chan blinked, before diving down towards the floor and getting the hell out of there.

“Was it just me, or did you just feel Cerebus’ aura?” asked Syaoran. Yue groaned. “The guardian beast must have come to check on you and left when he saw us like this.” Said Yue. “Well, Yue-san, I can’t saw that this is a very ‘normal’ position to be in.” said Syaoran. He had his legs and wings splayed out and was tied to the rather large bed with ribbons of silver energy. Yue was standing above him. It was definitely not something poor Cerebus had expected.

“Mmm, you are so nice Yue-san.” Said Syaoran softly as Yue took his face in his hands for a moment before kissing him. “As long as you’re a good little guardian, Syao-chan, I’ll be nice.” Said Yue. “But if you’re a bad guardian…” Yue trailed off, as Syaoran shivered. Partly from the cold, and partially for guessing what Yue would do if he ever got too angry.

Yue bent down and kissed Syaoran’s cock. “Now Syao-chan, behave.” He said as Syaoran squirmed and thrashed. Yue smiled slightly. Then, he reached out and started to pinch and stroke Syaoran’s nipples. Syaoran, who had not been expecting this, gasped in mingled surprise and pleasure. Seeing Syaoran like that was too much for Yue, so he dropped down and wished his robes away.

Syaoran looked at Yue as the angel reached up and took his member in both hands. “Yue-san, oh my god, Yue-san!” cried Syaoran, his cries ringing through the house as Yue stroked him to orgasm. Kero-chan, who was outside, put his paws over his ears in a vain attempt to block out the sound. * I don’t want to know I don’t want to know I don’t want to know I don’t want to know. * He kept repeating to himself.

When Syaoran had recovered, he looked at Yue and got a wicked idea. Slipping down, (Thank goodness for all his experiences with various binding cards that had helped him to escape) he took Yue’s member in his mouth and started licking it like it was a Popsicle.

Poor Yue was understandably surprised, since he had expected Syaoran to be stuck in bed for a while. “Syao-chan, what are you doing? Syao-chan? Syao-chan!” he cried, as his body shuddered and he climaxed. Syaoran looked up at his angel and put on a perfectly innocent façade. Yue sighed.

It was rather late in the evening when the two moon guardians emerged from Syaoran’s bedroom. Kero-chan looked up at the two of them and sighed. “You two are so irresponsible.” He muttered, before stuffing candies into his mouth so he wouldn’t say anything else. Yue and Syaoran exchanged smiles before they flew off into the night, holding hands..

Sakura looked out of her window. *I wonder where The Clow is. I haven’t seen that book ever since, well, ever since the judgment. It’s not here. Wait a minute. I remember a little bit, about the cards flying off after Syaoran had said I failed…so the book most be SOMEWHERE in Tomoeda, right? * Sakura suddenly got a bright idea. She picked up her cell phone and called Tomoyo-chan.

A sleepy Tomoyo picked up. “Yes, Sakura? Oh! Of course I’ll help! There’s this new costume I made that you would look so kawaii in!” Tomoyo blabbed continuously for a while before Sakura finally got her to hang up. Sakura walked to her window and touched the key around her neck. “I wonder if this still works…” she muttered. “Oh well. I guess it’s worth a try.”

“Key that hides the power of darkness, reveal your true form before me! Your master under the seal of contract Sakura commands you, Release!” As she finished, the bird’s head enlarged and the key turned back into her wand. “It does work! Great! Now all I have to do is find the Clow Cards before someone else gets them!” Sakura gleefully jumped out the window and ran off into the darkness.

Kero-chan was stuffing himself with chocolate pudding when he noticed something. The Clow Book was glowing! It was emitting a faintly gold light, and as Kero-chan watched in surprise, the lock opened and the cards started floating out slowly. “Stop! Stop!” yelled Kero-chan as he grabbed some. “Stop!” Most of them did, but several, led by Windy, flew out through the open window.

“What in the name of Clow…” said Kero-chan as he surveyed the mess, before snapping to attention. “Oh no! Now that the cards have escaped, they can be captured! And Sakura still has the key…Yue! Syaoran! Where are you two when I need help!” Kero-chan ranted as he flew out into the night to search for the moon guardians.

Sakura and Tomoyo were standing by the school. Sakura was dressed in a dark blue long-sleeved dress trimmed with dark red ribbon and frilly white lace. It had a lacy star in the center. “I sense a Clow Card.” Said Sakura. “Maybe more than one.” She readied her staff as the first card came into view.

Flower danced around happily as it floated through the air, dropping flowers in its wake. Glow followed, dropping lots of pretty twinkling lights. These two cards loved excitement, and they were bored sitting in the book all the time, so they had escaped. Unknown to them, somebody waited down below, watching all of this with interest.

“Clow Cards! Return to true form!”  Shouted Sakura. Flower and Glow were surprised, so they were captured without any resistance. Kero-chan shuddered as he flew through the air. “She caught one. Or two of them.” He said. Just then, Kero-chan spotted Yue and Syaoran sitting on a rooftop admiring the full moon.

“Hey you guys, snap out of it!” shouted Kero-chan. Yue and Syaoran both turned. “Kero-chan, what are you doing here?” asked Syaoran. “Sakura has used her key and some of the Clow Cards flew away and she’s capturing them!!” shouted Kero-chan. “What?!” shouted both guardians. “We have to stop her!” said Kero-chan. “Let’s go!”

Sakura was heading back to Tomoyo’s van when she was slammed into a wall by a very strong wind. “What the?” She said. “Keep it up, Gale!” shouted a voice. Sakura looked blank. “Gale? Was that an undiscovered Clow Card?” Sakura tried to stand up, but then the ground began to shake. Then, Sakura fell into a huge crack in the ground.

When Sakura looked up, she saw a huge lion beast with wings standing in front of her. “Hoe!” she shouted, scared stiff. “Where am I?” “You are currently in my apartment.” Said a voice. Sakura rubbed her eyes. “Who are you? What do you want?” A figure stepped out from the shadows. It took Sakura a full minute to recognize him.

“S-Syaoran? What the? Who is that? What am I doing here?” asked Sakura. The huge beast rumbled as its wings came out. When the light had cleared, Sakura saw a feisty Kero-chan looking at her. “Kero-chan? You’re that huge lion with wings?” asked Sakura, totally surprised. “Yep.” Said Kero-chan. Sakura turned pale. “I remember! You were one of the three people who punished me! Kero, how could you do this to me?!”

Kero-chan shrugged. “It was my duty. But it is also my duty to prevent you from getting any more Clow Cards. You are not a candidate for Card Master anymore.” “What?” cried Sakura. “That’s not fair!” “Oh, but it is fair. After all, you weren’t the first to fail.” Said a voice in her ear. Sakura spun around to find Syaoran looking at her. “Li-kun? What are you doing here?”

Syaoran shrugged. “I’m supposed to be pleasant for this blessed occasion.” He said dryly. “I’m also here to keep an eye on you in case the negotiations don’t go as planned.” Sakura looked blank. “It’s quite simple.” Said Syaoran. “You don’t try to capture any more cards, give us back the key, and we won’t hurt you. Otherwise, we take the key and cards by force, and erase your memory. You pick.”

“NO!” shouted Sakura, clutching the key around her neck. Syaoran shrugged. His eyes turned gold instead of their normal silvery color. Kero-chan tenses up and transforms into Cerebus. Yue flies in. Sakura gulps as she thinks quickly. * Hoe, I only have Flower and Glow, Windy, Sword, Fight and Power! I can’t possibly win! What am I going to do? *

“Give up. You can’t win.” Said Syaoran. “I don’t want to punish you again…” Then he straightened up as his eyes narrowed. “But if I have to, I WILL fight you.” He said. He gripped his staff tightly. Cerebus raises his wings and opens his mouth, preparing to spit fire. Yue holds out one hand as a bunch of crystal shards materialize.

“Windy! Become a reprimanding chain!” shouted Sakura, hoping this would work. Cerebus spat fire at Windy, while Yue’s eyes glowed. “Windy is a moon-based card. Moon-based cards can’t affect me.” There was a brief pause, and then Windy collapsed under Cerebus’ assault and turned back into a card.

“Sword!” says Sakura, grabbing it as she advances on them. Cerebus gets out of the way as Syaoran and Yue pull out their swords. (Yes, Yue can create a sword out of energy, and Syaoran has a sword.) Syaoran attacks her while Yue creeps up behind her and lets loose a wave of crystal shards.  Sakura screams and falls down. Just then, a black shape appears in front of Sakura, protecting her.

Syaoran freezes as he recognizes the person. “YOU!” he yells. Tomoyo holds out her hands, sending dark energy at Syaoran.  Syaoran falls down, bleeding from a wound in his side. Cerebus attacks Tomoyo while Yue uses the Recover card on Syaoran. Syaoran gets up again and pulls out his staff. He has a determined look on his face.

“Moon Card, return to your power confined!” Syaoran yells, but Tomoyo attacks him before he can finish, knocking his staff from his hands. Silver light shoots out of the staff and goes inside Syaoran. Syaoran gasps, before throwing a wave of water mixed with wind and electricity at Tomoyo and Sakura. They scream.

Yue looks at Syaoran. “What happened?” he asks. “When Tomoyo made me drop my staff during the summoning, something happened and the moon cards all bonded with Me.” said Syaoran. He holds up one hand and silver light streaks over all three of them. “Heal Card?” says Cerebus. Syaoran nods. Then, he looks at Sakura with sadness as black and white lights flash out.

Tomoyo screams as Sakura disappears. Then, she charges at Syaoran. Syaoran throws a burst of lightning at her, stopping her. Tomoyo suddenly falls over, paralyzed. Yue lands next to Syaoran as Cerebus walks up. Then, Syaoran creates a ball of silver light. It solidifies into the form of a little girl with blonde hair and Sakura’s green eyes.

“Good bye, Sakura.” Says Syaoran. “We’ll meet again…” He walks away, flanked by the guardians. And ten years later, Sakura finds a book in her father’s study…
