Infact it was counter the the doctrines of Marx and Lenin, their goverment was actrually a tyranical dictatorship thinly veiled through the ideological label of 'Communist'. If you look closely they had few truly communistic or socialistic traits, none were equal, social classes still existed, the urban proletariat and rural peasant were still opressed by the ruling class, they was no rule by and for the people. It was all truly a sham. (wow.  And here I thought that Stalin was a friendly father figure to all those oppressed by the iron fist of capitalism.)-YugDung (It was a sham??!? No!
