With her first single "I Don't Care" just released and earning more attention from both radio and television, Delta has gone back into the studio this week to continue working on her debut album.
Delta is currently working in a North Sydney studio with producer Vince Pizzinga, adding to the songs already completed for the record which has been recorded all over the world. Vince and Delta are working on two songs this week, including one track they wrote together. "One of the songs that I'm doing at the moment, which Vince and I wrote, I'm really looking forward to finishing," says Delta. "It's got a great funky feel, which is really good fun."
Delta assures fans that her debut album is going to include a lot of variety, something she aimed for from the very beginning.
"There's a lot of different stuff on there," she says. "That's why we decided to record it all over the place, rather than just restrict it to one country." "We've also used a lot of live instruments on the album," she continues. "Obviously we've used a lot of samples and sequences too, but we added a cello on one track, and there are live drums and guitars all the way through
as well."
