Starting this week - from Monday July 8th - Delta Goodrem will be a regular on the cast of Network 10's Neighbours series.
Delta has been filming for the series over the last few months, and now her fans will be able to enjoy her antics on a regular basis. Delta plays a character named Nina Tucker, who enrols at Erinsborough High to repeat year 10. She is repeating because her parents travel a lot and therefore she has missed quite a bit of school, but all the movement has also effected her personality.
As Nina, Delta is a bit scared of making friends, because she thinks she's just going to have to leave them again soon anyway, and so she seems very shy. However, Michelle (Kate Keltie), befriends Nina, takes her under her wing and in doing so discovers that Nina is a very talented singer.
Of course, Neighbours isn't Delta's first acting appearance - she has been appearing on Australian television since she was eight, when she appeared on the sitcom Hey Dad.
Delta will continue to work on her music career simultaneously with the new acting role.
