Delta Goodrem has been working around the clock to get her forthcoming album finished. The talented newcomer has been in the studio laying down tracks for her debut release and has been drawing on life experiences for her inspiration, especially when it came to her current single, 'Born To Try'.
'Every single song on the album, but mainly the first single, is how I was feeling at on that particular day, at that time,' she says. 'Born To Try is autobiographical. I'm not saying I was born to win or born to lose, but I'm saying I was born to give it a really good shot. I have been working at it a long time and its really special. 'Born To Try' couldn't have summed up a better way of saying to people who I am.
Delta's single 'Born To Try' is in stores now. Her as yet untitled album is scheduled for an early 2003 release. Delta will be appearing at Highpoint Shopping Centre in Melbourne on Saturday, November 16 from 1pm.
