Tune into Neighbours this week (weeknights on Channel 10 at 6.30pm) to see Delta's character Nina Tucker get her big break. In a classic case of art imitating life, Nina performs the song she wrote 'Born To Try' in an Erinsborough nightclub and is discovered by promoter Glenn Wheatley.
Wheatley is actually Delta's real life manager. He discovered her a few years ago when she sent him a demo of her songs, including the national anthem, which she hoped to sing at a Sydney Swans game.
