it is a boring month. waiting for a travel, a real one.
6th, july
perry, a friend if mine, who's working in shanghai, came back for 2 weeks. we decided to watch a movie today.
yesterday i was busy with my new bed frame (not a frame indeed, just a very solid wooden platform), i was exausted but managed to squeeze some time to buy 2 movie tickets online, seats were quite full already.
i decided to watch "kika", a movie of Pedro Almodovar, the same director of "volver". it's available for one day only.
so we enter the theatre, found our seats, expecting to watch the movie, then a staff came to us, asked what are our seat numbers, and checked our tickets.
we found that i've bought tickets for 3rd, august!!
it's only available on 3rd of august, so perry is going to miss it anyway.
then we had to choose another movie, we picked "Lemmings, part 1: Arcades", a movie of a german director Michael Haneke, who owns an honour of "master of provocation"!
"master of provocation"!! wao!!
the movie is very good indeed, though i can't see a lot of provocations, some scene and lines are really nice. this movie will be one of my favourite of this year.
his movies are only availble at boardway centre, and so is "kika"......
2nd, july
recently i've got a song, "we are massacre", from the world's end grilfriend, again.
at first it's full of ambient, then comes with subtle violin notes, changes to electric guitar afterwards, very peaceful, flowing song, memories come up to my mind like a stream.
the best thing about this song is the background environment/ human voices, when you're totally immersed in the flowing ambient, these waken you, dragging you back onto the ground. and that is our destiny.
i'm working on my bed (yes it was broken) these days, ordering new ones and have to clear up things in order to place it. a broken bed makes me tired everyday.
i found that facebook is a better platform to share photos then here, sadly.
