those plastic cones tell us where may be dangerous (there can be deep holes under the ice), and they form a line which we should not pass. that guy works there, checking the ice-surface?

at the tourist center, there's a road from the right of the picture to the left, then goes along the hill, to the glacier. that is the road we use to visit the glacier. the glacier is on the top right, the white area.
