dreaming at the cinema, dreaming at the ferry, and dreaming at the slopy alleys.

i watched several movies in the past few weeks, so here we go:
1) Paris Je t'aime (i love paris) -- better then expected, very interesting short stores, i'm not a fans of paris at all but some stories are really touching and catchy.
2) Babel -- not as good as expected, i expected a lot because of "21 grams". similar style, with a shot gun as the "link", but there's only a primary factor, but not much further interferences from the reaction of them. afterall it's a very heavy but good movie.
3) Eternal Summer -- em..... if you're not a fans of kate yeung like me, try other movies.
4) Perfume (a story of a murderer) -- i missed the first 30mins because i forgot the time...... but it doesn't matter as the movie is 2 and a half hour long. the story is interesting, just try not to challenge the ironic logics in the movie and you'll found it's a very nice one.
5) Confession of pain -- it's a bit long ago but i really like it, i don't like the filming style and some actors but the story worth every cent.
6) Holiday -- i like it, it's very hollywood but i think it's successful because i really feel warm and happy after watching it.
7) FUR -- it's off already when i planned to watch!! just one week on show!! nfjgkjgnfngiuxzxdnfnn!!
anyway, merely personal.
i think i'm at the neck of a bottle, in every aspect, so i gotta pass it through and everything will be fine, isn't it?
many travel plans already, but first thing first, save up money first.
this is a piece of magnet, my elder sister's daughter, kristy, who is only 4 yrs old drawn it and it's a gift for us! i like it very much, kristy's got art sense and she has a really strong character, isn't it?
everything has it's schedule. i remember some ideas from the bible.
there is time to start, time to end, time to born, time to die, time to be healthy, time to be sick, time to be delighted, time to be upset, time to grow, time to harvest, time to flourish, time to wilt......
so when something is gonna end, it's better to accept, but not trying to change. another start is waiting ahead
last christmas i met my friend, sun, who's working in beijing. i visited his home, i met 2 very nice friends, perry, his roomate and suen, his girlfriend. they're very nice and interesting people, last week they visited me and we've had good times too**suen has a nice blog and you may check it here.
today i processed some films i shot after i came back. they remind me who i met, what i've done in these days, i met a lot of people, have had dinner in different places. i like this feeling of "revision of memory", that's why i like to shoot film but not digital. after some days when you process the films which you shot long ago, sometimes you may find that the one in the photo is not the one you know now. i made lots of mistakes when i shot, but it's interesting to see the "mistakes", so you'll know and beware again~
everyone was celebrating the new year and got crazy about the count down, but be frank i'm not really into it, i feel empty during the count down because i feel people's passion but not mine. my new year started already when i came back last november, may be that's why.

my sister in canada got a cute little baby on 29th (or 30th? well, the time gap confuses me), he's a boy so i gotta think a name for him, his father's surname is Kwok, so dear friends, any good ideas? let me know and you'll be rewarded!!
