1985 Ayu 7 yr old, acted as a model in the local (Fukuoka) cm. Also became Fukuoka central bank's special model.

1991 Ayu in Junior Height 2nd grade (13 yr old) She used the name "Hamasaki Kurumi" to act in "Twins Teacher." Satou Aiko, Suzuki Kyoka, etc. also appeared in the drama. She develops an interest in acting drama. Btw, she belonged to the "SOS model agency" at that time.

1993 After Junior Height graduation, Ayu went to Tokyo alone. She acted in a house food production cm "Konbittsu."

1994 Ayu joined "Sun Music"

Ayu participated in more or less 7 dramas. Among them, TBS "Miseinen" is a well known one. She got a role -Hitomi-a rich politician's teenage daughter who was pregnant and had a baby. She was also an ballad dancer in there!! Okay, I don't want to give the story away, go and rent it. Yo I tell ya, this girl can really act.

1994-7-21 Her first swimsuit photo press. It was issued in Young Jump. She had to constantly do those swimsuit shots for comic and man magazines in order to gain popularities...like a lot of J-stars did before they become popular.

1995 Host a midnight show "HIP"-Hot Information Press. It's basically a tour guides to popular places and restaurants.

First Movie "sumomomomo." Ayu acted in total of 4 movies. In "sumomomomo," she was the main character's sister.
