I utilise a variety of kiln forming techniques to achieve texture, actual or implied, that allows light to play off the surface and give depth and feeling to my work. The simplicity of the form combined with the intricacies of the glass imparts a certain quality that evokes associations from the viewer- sensuality, tranquillity, containment and touch..
I am currently experimenting with jewellery techniques, fibre and textile in my more recent works and the interaction of these materials with glass.
