The Story
On the Bright Side is a comic I have been working on since High School, which was about three or four years ago. The story revolves around a boy named Jacob, just your average... or maybe not so average high school student... he's a little clumsy, and not really the brightest person you would ever meet. He has always been picked on and walked all over since he was little, and he has always been really shy. On top of that, his grades are starting to slip. One day, a family moves in next door to him, and one of the daughters happens to be his age... and also happens to be the same girl he was friends with back in his childhood! At first he doesn't trust her after so many years of being rejected by society, but after a while, he slowly begins to fall in love with her... which only makes his life more complicated. Is this all for better or for worse? Find out when I release the first volume of On the Bright Side! (whenever that will be)
