Reknowned as delinquents, the Sakuragi Gundan consists of Sakuragi's 4 good friends since middle school, who hang around Sakuragi at almost all times, go to watch every match to support Shohoku and Sakuragi - and also to laugh at him whenever he messes up ^.^ .  Although most of the time they go way too far - doing things like betting how long it'll take before Sakuragi gets fouled out ^_^" - they help Sakuragi whenever he's in trouble, and are very supportive of him.

Surname: Mito Name: Youhei Grade: 1 Very much the leader of the gang.  Youhei's also the most sensible out of the 4, as good a fighter as Sakuragi, and probably the person who Sakuragi would most likely run to first with a heavy heart. ^_^ A really nice and righteous guy - a bit like Kogure except he's not half as smart and doesn't think there's anything wrong with violence ^_^"...but still a pretty nice guy who goes out of his way to help his friends in whatever way he can. ^_^ .

Surname: Noma Name: Chuichiro Grade: 1 Chuichiro arouses attention because he has a moustache that makes him look ...very old.. hehe..  Nothing much to say except he helps his friends out when they need it, but like the others, likes making fun out of them as well - esp. Sakuragi ...^_~

Surname: Takamiya Name: Nozumu Grade: 1 Takamiya's just another member of the Sakuragi gundan who's always hungry and enjoys fooling around.  He probably makes fun of Sakuragi the most, and can be recognized anywhere because he's as round as a beachball ^.~

Surname: Okusu Name: Yuuji Grade: 1 Okusu just..has really weird hair.. -_-" [err..well at least that's the only thought I have about him..he looks like a hippie! LOL ^.^] Just like the others, he enjoys making a fool out of Sakuragi, but helps whenever help is needed.
