More: Like Akagi, Kogure's ultimate ambition is to get Shohoku into the nationals as well. It wouldn't be untrue to say that Kogure is probably the most mature character in the Shohoku team (and maybe even the whole of the SD cast). Although Kogure spends most of his time off the court and on the bench, he still plays a very important and crucial role as a vice captain, encouraging, cheering and supporting individuals on the team. Kogure is also very much of a peacekeeper, stopping fights and resolving tensions, but never getting into any himself. Kogure is the kind of guy who never resorts to violence, so you never see him hitting his juniors to make them listen - like Akagi to Sakuragi (^_^"). His intelligence in addition to his kindness makes him a really supportive and understanding person, neither too proud nor too humble. His maturity makes him a good vice captain. Kogure pretty much speaks his mind, although he does this in a way that is never disrespectful (like Sakuragi often is when he does ^_~), as such. He helps whenever he can, going about this in a calm and civilized way - never resorting to violence, as I mentioned earlier ^_^. Kogure has some really sentimental moments, and doesn't seem afraid to admit that. ^_~ Sometimes he acts genuinely nostalgic. Basically, Kogure's the classical nice guy. ^_^
Personal Opinion: My opinion? Kogure's the *nicest* guy in SD. ^.^ Haha..I mean it...even if you count Sen-kun and Fujima-san (err...Rukawa is out of the question in this area. ^_^" his personality is..erm...how shall I say it?..far from nice..heh..) Like Fujima, he's mature and smart...but I would definitely give Kogure some extra points for kind-heartedness... ^_^ On the court, Fujima and Sendoh are never humble...but it appears to me that Kogure always is, on and off the court for that matter - and that earns extra points on my scales..haha.. ^_~ I know..I'm strange..hehe...^_^" Plus, it's as if Kogure never gets mad at anyone! Never gets annoyed either..hehe.. I don't see him as my favourite guy in SD..I dunno why...but I see him as *the* nicest guy in SD...the person with the nicest personality ^_^ If looks didn't count, he would be my favourite character (along with Sakuragi of course ...hehe ^_~)..
Okay, maybe not..arrgghh!! I don't know...all the characters in SD are likeable!! *cough cough* except for Maki that is...-_- *no offence!* ^_^"
