More: Compared to other players from his team and other teams alike, Miyagi is really short (-_-"), but he turns this into an advantage by being as quick as lightning ^_^. As a player, Miyagi doesn't aim to be the ace of Shohoku, but rather focuses on trying to be the #1 point guard in the region. Miyagi's style of playing ball is completely selfless, which is why he scores so little points - he concentrates on creating good chances for his team members rather than trying to score himself. (Personally, I think that Miyagi doesn't get the credit he deserves as a player - he's an unsung hero who works backstage... ^.^) Miyagi has a 'bad-boy' type of fiery determination about him, and is known for his astounding fighting abilities, although on rare occasions before games, his height causes him to feel a little self-conscious and doubtful. Miyagi gets along well with all the members of the team, (having solved his conflicts with Mitsui in the past), making him a suitable choice for the future captain of Shohoku. Miyagi's motivation in life and basketball has got to be Ayako, the team manager ^_^. He makes it really obvious too ^.~ The way Miyagi beats up any guy who he sees close to Ayako (whether or not he knows the nature behind it all), or anyone who treats Ayako disrespectfully, is pretty funny..but also pretty sweet..hehe ^_^
Personal Opinion: Maybe not as much as I like Sen-kun, Rukawa-kun, or Fujima-san - who have got the looks ^_~ -...but I like Miyagi ^_~ haha.. he has to be a pretty heroic guy to do such a significant part of the work on the court and not complain about not getting any credit, right? And I got this feeling that although SD doesn't say much about it, Miyagi's been through a lot in his lifetime too - getting into so much violence and being *rejected* by Ayako all along...as well getting into a sport where he's probably despised for his height and all that....-_-...but yet he still hangs on and does all his work without getting any credit...what a hero!! haha...well, he definitely is one of my favourite characters in SD anyway ^_^ There are quite a few Miyagi fans out there right? ^.~
