More: I would describe Sakuragi as naive and childish, but dedicated and determined. He's unbelievably egoistic and full of himself though, leading to his being jealous of anyone who displays more skill than he does - "Ore wa tensai" (I'm a genius) is probably one of his most common sayings next to "Teme Rukawa!!" ^_~ hehe..
Somehow Sakuragi always ends up making a fool of himself one way or another....and his childish way of thinking and very weird behaviour makes him, to me, the most *interesting* character in SD... Face it, Sakuragi puts in all the humour! ^.^
Even though he has an over-inflated ego, Sakuragi's still a pretty nice guy...even though he has weird manners and appears quite rude sometimes ...maybe it's 'cause he's too straightforward..?! Sakuragi actually takes himself really seriously, evident in his depressed attitude and guilt after losing the Kainan match, and also after being *defeated* by Fukuda during the Ryonan match ... but somehow Sakuragi always has the courage and determination to get up and try again, no matter how many setbacks he meets. -- if it wasn't for this courage and determination, where would he be after his 50th rejection? haha.. ^.~ think of it in that way....Sakuragi's a fighter ^_^...
Personal Opinion: If you didn't count looks, Sakuragi would definitely be my favourite character in SD..haha..he is sooo funny! ^.^
