Though completely different, Rei (Mars) and Mina are shown to be bestfriends. This isn't shown in the anime as much as in the manga. I think they make great bestfriends considering they're opposites. Also what's very ironic is that Mina is a Libra while Rei is an Aries. These two astrological signs are polarities and all polarities get along very well with eachother. Libra is shown to be a sign of marriage and partnership while Aries is the sign of self and ego. Not only are their personalities very different, but so are thier appearences. Although both have long hair, Mina has ligh coloured hair and light eyes while Rei has dark hair and dark eyes. I just find them cool together. =D |
