| Despite the Western belief that Sailor Moon is a show for little girls, Sailor Moon was actually intended for teenage girls in Japan. Sailor Moon was the first anime I ever saw. I saw the english dub and then I did a search on it and learned it was orginally Japanese. Then I went and read the manga for it and also watched a lot of sub (subtitled) episodes. What I love about it a lot is the way the characters are and the original art by Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of Sailor Moon. Maybe the show itself a little too, but mostly the characters and the art.
