a Legnth of black thread

Tie a knot at one end and say:
"one to seek him/her/it"

Tie a knot in the middle and say:
"one to find him/her/it"

Tie a knot at the other end and say:
"one to bring him/her/it"

Tie the two ends together and say:
"one to bind him/her/it"

Bury or throw the thread as far away from your home as possible.
