OHRID AIRPORT is on 10 km distance from the towns of Ohrid and Struga, 50 km from Resen, and provides the easiest and most secure access to the Macedonian Lakeland. There are regular flights from Slovenia (Ljubljana), Switzerland (Zurich), Germany (Dusseldorf), Austria (Vienna), The Netherlands (Amsterdam)...

SKOPJE AIRPORT (200 km from Ohrid / Struga) is  well connected with the major European cities and  among the destinations of the most prominent European air companies: Lufthansa, Aeroflot, Alitalia, Swissair, British Airways, KLM, Olympic Airways, Adria Airways....

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
are organized by car or bus for all our guests to any place of stay. Transfers can be arranged for groups and independent travelers, as well.
Note: the cost of transfers depends on the distance and number of passengers involved.

A beautiful three hour ride through the mountains of western Macedonia takes you from Skopje Airport to the lakes of Ohrid and Prespa where you can enjoy your holiday in the place you have chosen.
BUSES
If you are already staying or living in one of Macedonia's neighboring countries, traveling by bus is one of the most convenient ways to reach the Macedonian Lakeland. Regular daily bus service operates from Belgrade (YU), Sofia (BG) and Istanbul (TR) to Ohrid.

Skopje from: Germany (Munich, Stuttgart), Sweden (Malme, Stockholm), Switzerland (Zurich, Basel), Slovenia (Ljubljana), Croatia (Zagreb, Rijeka)...

The wide network of roads and well developed local transport allow you to reach every single village or town in the lake region, or elsewhere in Macedonia.
TRAINS
The nearest train stations are Kicevo (60 km from Ohrid) and Bitola (70 km). The international trains from central and western Europe, on their way down to Greece, make regular stops at Skopje Central Station.
MOTORIZED TOURISTS
The motorized tourists can use the border crossings Macedonia shares with Albania, Bulgaria, Greece and Yugoslavia, while the wide network of modern roads allows safe and fast traveling throughout the country, and to the lakeland.

How to get into Macedonia from...!?
Italy, France, Spain: crossing the Adriatic Sea, from Brindisi to the Albanian port of Durres, and driving 150 more km to the Macedonian border, directly to Lake Ohrid.
Eastern Europe and Asia: through Bulgaria, from Sofia via Skopje to Ohrid / Struga.
Western & Central Europe: (Ljubljana - Zagreb) - Belgrade - Skopje - Ohrid
Greece: Salonica - Florina - Bitola - Ohrid
