Fourth Annual Yampa Valley Holistic Fair

The mission for the Fourth Annual Yampa Valley Holistic and Living Fair is to highlight the local holistic and wellness community and new to this year, highlight the holistic living topics such as green homes and building, energy conservation, and holistic approaches to life in the Yampa Valley.
The Yampa Valley is home to hundreds of holistic practitioners, including large centers and small individual businesses, as well as three natural food stores, and this number increases annually. This increasing number of local practitioners offers a wide variety of techniques from around the world. In addition, a new hot topic across the country and globe is conservation and our inpact on the environment, so by adding a broad new topic of Holistic Living to the Fair, the presenters hope to bring added awareness about not just holistic health, but a holistic approach to life in entirety.
The fair was offered in 2004 and 2005 on an introductory scale at smaller venues, and was presented for the first time at the Steamboat Grand Ballroom in 2007 with an overwhelmingly large attendance of both locals and visitors over the busy Labor Day weekend. By moving the fair into August this year, advertising on the front range, and offering the new topic of Holistic Living to the gamut, the presenters hope to continue to increase the size of this much-needed event. It is free to the public.
In addition to a wide variety of booths, there will be break out sessions where presenters will discuss various topics of holistic health and living. Booths will offer individual sessions as well, including chair massage, acupuncture, technique and product sampling, and much more. There will also be holistic products for sale as well as door prizes.
