There is a meeting for retired parishioners every Wednesday lunchtime.  They usually have tea or coffee with milk and sugar.  There is always a good selection of biscuits too.  Barry doesn't take sugar in his tea and doesn't eat any biscuits because he has diabetis.  Kathleen has a sweet tooth and takes three spoons of sugar in her coffee.  Her husband doesn't like coffee.  He drinks tea and dunks his biscuits.  Maureen is lactose intolerant so she cannot have milk in her tea or coffee.

They often go on trips.  Last month they went to the seaside.  This month they are going on a walk in the Yorkshire Dales.  They will all take some food for the picnic.  Here is a list of what they are taking.
a flask of tea
orange juice
a packet of biscuits
some cheese and cucumber sandwiches
some ham sandwiches

some sausage rolls
some pork pies
some cornish pasties
some carrot cake
