Below are a selection of services given as examples.  999 is a free telephone number you can use to call the Police, the Fire Service and Ambulance, 24 hours a day from anywhere in the United Kingdom.  The NHS (National Health Service) provides useful information and advice on the website but you can also telephone them.  When you register with a doctor you will be asked if you need a translator.  Catholic primary and secondary schools can be found in cities.
