This was the first image I did after
learning how to add reflection to an image. If you look closely
below the ball, on the floor, you will see the reflection.
Reflection, number one, make things look more life like. It is
also a great way to give the impression that something is glass
If you really want something to look like glass, add reflection
to it. Reflection really seems to give the effect of transparency
a lot better than using alpha alone; in the Materials menu choose
"z trans", cut down a little on the alpha and add an
envmap for reflection. Of course the envmap will not do any good
unless you have another object in the scene. Make sure it is very
solid, exspecially if your model will be doing the
reflecting has a crazy texture.
