In one player mode you play as the Romans but in multiplayer mode you play any of the 3 civilizations. The Romans with their high tech weaponry, discipline and well armed you can try to rule the known world. The Egyptians who have been longer than many civilizations but many years of neglect have left them a few years behind Rome still are a force to be reckoned with. Last but not least the Gaul's or barbarians who with their numbers, bravery and strength can handle anyone they wish to confront.
The Romans
They are my favorite civilization, they are strong can handle more hits make lots of destruction, but they are slow a small disadvantage.
Auxyliary infantry, Legionaries, Pike man, Cavalry (Mounted archers and Equilites), Gladiators, Praetorians, Slingers, Doctor, 2 Scouts one with a hawk and one with a wolf.
The Egyptians
They are a nice civilization their archers kill fast their heavy infantry is slow but strong. Also cheaper to create.
The Barbarians
This guys are strong but the cool thing about this guys is that they have the german cavalry this cavalry is the only one that can enter in to forest fields cool to beat up archers hiding in forest.
