They are certainly not a folk band, but they are a rock band. And a good one. They certainly fit in this story because this is a return to a British tradition in their own way. You can hear early XTC and The Undertones in their music. Specially, Feargal Sharkey can be heard in Karl Hodges' voice. They openly quote a lot of different influences, but Firehose and Minutemen caught my ear and eye specially. This particularly can be heard in Ken Wood's bass technique. The band is together only since 1998 practicing mostly on weekends, and I expect a lot from them in future. Song entitled "Lost" is gorgeous. And has nothing to do with Meat Puppets. Their brothers live in Belgrade and their name is Kanda Kodza i Nebojsa. One thing that they could pay more attention to is to engage their lyrics more politically. Their base is in Huddersfield.
