Under the same concept that Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded, the members thought it would be beneficial to spread the principals to youth in the community. The first clubs were formed in the 1950's under the names Zetalites, Amicettes, and Archonettes. These clubs were composed of young ladies between the ages 14 - 18 who were matriculated in junior and senior high schools. It was with a sensitivity to the need of youth at an earlier age, Sorors Vandal Smith-Sloan and Lillian Wilson recommended that the organization start reaching out to girls ages 4-8. So in 1991, the Pearlette Club was established. Since these dates, clubs are continuously sponsored by various Chapters of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
