This roof leak has been a major pain. We called Benchmark Roofing in Tulsa to fix it. After two tries, it still leaked. We are awaiting a refund of our $80 and if it is not received soon, we will contact the Better Business Bureau.
Since the ceiling needs to be repaired and repainted, we decide to remove the ceiling trim. We will remove the white paint and re-stain and re-varnish the edge.
We used a numbering system to label each trim piece. We started from left to right and marked each piece on the underside so it can be read and reinstalled in the same place. Once we begin the paint removal process, it would have been difficult to know exactly what went where and which side was up... or down! This piece is North #1. The floor trim was marked using the same method.
