Place Prepared of God
In this study we are going to be focusing on two Greek words one is hetoimazo which means to prepare it refers to internal fitness; it is used 41 times(40-probation + 1-Unity) in the NT. The next Greek word is kataskeuazo it means to prepare thoroughly properly by external equipment it is used 13times (Rebellion) in the NT.
Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared(Hetoimazo) of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
Wilderness in the Greek is eremos it means desolate, deserted, lonely; it is used 50times (Holy Spirit)
It is important that we keep this in chronological order this is prior to Satan being booted out of heaven. We also know from Rev 11:3 that the two witnesses shall prophesy 1260 days clothed in sackcloth: which to prophesy is to teach to feed the sheep. Then it tells us in verse 4 of chapter 11 that the these are the 2 olive trees and the 2 candlesticks.
Lets go to Exodus Chapter 23
Exodus 23:20 ¶ Behold, I send an Angel(Messenger) before thee, to KEEP THEE in the way, and to BRING THEE into the PLACE WHICH I HAVE PREPARED.
Angel in the Hebrew is malÆak it means a messenger specifically of God, also a prophet, priest or teacher. Keep in the Hebrew is shamar it means to hedge about with thorns that is to guard. Way in the Hebrew is derek it means a road (as trodden); figuratively, a course of life or mode of action. We see here this Angel-Messenger is to do 2things(witnessing) keep thee in the way and the bring thee into the place prepared of God.
Exodus 23:21 BEWARE of him, and OBEY his voice, PROVOKE him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
Beware is in the Hebrew shamar the same word for Keep in the previous verse. Obey is shamae it means to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively, to tell, etc). Provoke in the Hebrew is marar it mean to make bitter. That is 3 things we are instructed to do 3 divine completeness-perfection. Transgressions in the Hebrew is peshaæ It means to revolt; nationally, morally, or religious; it comes from the prim pashaæ which means to break away (from just authority), i.e. trespass, apostatize, quarrel.
Exodus 23:22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
That is two things we must do you have to do the if’s in order to receive the promises. The Lord will be an enemy and an adversary to our enemies and adversaries what a promise that is.
Lets go to Luke chapter 1
Luke 1:11 And there appeared unto him( Zacharias-Yah has remembered) an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
We would find out in the 19th verse that this is Gabriel-Man of God. Notice were it is that he is standing at the right side of the altar of incense. In Rev. 8:3 And another angel CAME AND STOOD AT THE ALTAR, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the PRAYERS OF ALL SAINTS upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
Luke 1:12 And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for THY PRAYER IS HEARD; and thy wife Elisabeth (Oath of God) shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.(Yahveh’s Gift)
Elisabeth is the equivalent of Elisheba, the wife of Aaron which is the priest line. We see here this one Named by the Father. Notice his prayer was heard one of those saints spoken of in Rev. 8:3. Remember to think in chronological order and know that all these things were done for an ensample to us whom the ends of the world is come.
Luke 1:14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.
See the predestination in that. That is one ordained from the foundations of the World which is the Katabole the overthrow of Satan.
Luke 1:16 And many of the children of Israel( Prince that Prevails with God) shall he turn to the Lord their God.
Turn in the Greek is epistrepho it means to Revert(Lit., Fig, or morally)
Luke 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power( Dunamis-Miraculous Power) of Elias, (Yah is El-God) to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready(hetoimazo) a people prepared( kataskeuazo) for the Lord.
Here are those 2 Greek Words Hetoimazo which means to prepare it refers to internal fitness. Kataskeuazo which means to prepare thoroughly properly by external equipment. Disobedient in the Greek is apeithes it means unpersuadable, i.e. contumacious. Wisdom in the Greek is phronesis it means intellectual or moral insight. Wisdom of the Just- Just in the Hebrew is Tsadowq-Zadok which is God’s Elect. We know in Malachi 4:5-6 speaks of this that before the great and dreadful day of the Lord he shall send Elijah. Christ would say in Luke 7:27 This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare (kataskeuazo) thy way before thee. Remember what it said in Exodus 23:20 to bring the into the place in which I have prepared.
Lets go to Matthew 25 to see what this place is.
Matthew 25:31 ¶ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall SEPARATE THEM ONE FROM ANOTHER, as a SHEPHERD DIVIDETH HIS SHEEP FROM THE GOATS:
We see here we are talking about the Return of Christ, and the separation of the sheep from the goats. Keep in mind what is it that Elijah would do? Turn the hearts of the children to the Fathers and the hearts of the Fathers to the children that is a division a separation even before the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
Matthew 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the KINGDOM PREPARED( Hetoimazo ) FOR YOU from the foundation of the world:
Kingdom that is the King and his Dominion- which is as we know the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords Yashua. We see we have that Greek word hetoimazo which means to prepare it refers to internal fitness which is the same Greek word that was used in Revelation 12:6. Foundation of the World which is the Katabole the overthrow of Satan in the first earth age.
Matthew 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Think spiritual we are not talking about the needs of the flesh we are instructed in Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Many today are spiritual hungry for was we know from Amos 8:11 that the famine of the end times is for hearing the Word of God. Meat that in-depth truth of God’s Word. Gave drink of the living water that whosoever receive that living water which is Christ shall never thirst, that well of water that springs up everlasting life as written in John 4:14. Stranger God’s children are not of this world even as Christ was not of this World as written in John 17:16.
Matthew 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
We are to be clothed about with the whole Gospel Armor when one learns the truth that is what allows them to be able to but on that gospel armor. Healing through the Word that heals broken vessels. In Prison just as many today are placed in bondage by the traditions of me, the truth sets you free it doesn’t place you in shackles.
Matthew 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
We are instructed in James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. Likewise Christ taught in Luke 8:21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are THESE WHICH HEAR the word of God, AND DO IT.
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, PREPARED (hetoimazo) FOR THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS:
We see here the negative part of God’s plan. Notice that it did not say it was prepared for all of God’s children that were to be born of woman, it is God’s will that all come to repentance and that none should perish. Lets go to one more place to see how we can go to this place prepared of God today as spoken of in Revelation 12: 6 were the woman fled and was fed.
Lets go to John chapter 14
John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare(hetoimazo) a place for you.
Mansion in the Greek is mone it comes from the Greek Word meno which means to stay to dwell. We can have this mansion today in this flesh body. We see here we have that Greek Word Hetoimazo again which means to prepare which refers to internal fitness.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will COME AGAIN, and RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF; that where I am, there YE MAY BE ALSO.4 And whither I go ye know, and THE WAY YE KNOW.
Don’t look past that Christ said we know the way but in a couple more verses he is going to bring it right down to were the rubber meets the road.
John 14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
Doubting Thomas many today are just as he was need things spelled out in laymen terms in order to understand and there is nothing wrong with asking for clarity when you can not understand something. Christ is so compassionate towards us that he will do that, he teaches in such a simplistic manner that even a small child can understand.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
That is 3 different things in which Christ stated he is 3 being the number of Divine Completeness-Perfection. We are told in Col. 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And in Rev 19:13 his name is called the Word of God. That is the Way. Remember what it said in Exodus 23:20 that the Messenger of the Lord would Do Keep us in the Way and bring us to a place prepared of God. Many today are being made ready-prepared-through internal fitness spiritually, to be able to stand against the fiery darts of Satan. That is why it is so important for us to give meat to those that are starving spiritually. So that they also may put on the whole gospel armor in order to stand against the fiery darts of Satan.
